A helper to a container truck driver has died after a road accident in Nawalapitiya on Friday, NewsFirst reported.
Police said the incident occurred when the truck was reversing and crashed into a wall. The deceased, a 26-year-old resident of Galagedara, was the driver’s assistant.
The container truck driver has been arrested and is to be produced before the Nawalapitiya Magistrate’s Court. Investigations are continuing.
