Sri Lanka Cricket’s selection committee has named a 15-member women’s national squad for the upcoming One Day International (ODI) series against Pakistan.
The three-match series forms part of the ICC Women’s Championship 2025–2029 cycle, the qualification pathway that helps determine direct entry to the next Women’s Cricket World Cup. Points earned in bilateral series across the cycle carry significant weight, making the fixtures against Pakistan an important test for the home side.
All three matches will be played at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium in Hambantota, on July 23, 25 and 28, 2026. The southern venue has regularly hosted Sri Lanka’s women’s internationals in recent seasons.
The series offers Sri Lanka’s women a home opportunity to strengthen their standing in the championship table as they build towards future global tournaments. Full squad details and the support staff were confirmed by Sri Lanka Cricket in its announcement.
