Sri Lanka will play three T20 internationals, an ODI tri-series and two Tests in Pakistan across October and November, under a schedule confirmed by the Pakistan Cricket Board.

Sri Lanka arrive on October 4. The T20I series will be played in Rawalpindi from October 9 to 13, the PCB said in a press release carried by Daily Mirror.

Tri-series with England

England then join the two sides for a 50-over tri-series in Rawalpindi and Lahore from October 18 to 31.

Pakistan open against Sri Lanka at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on October 18, and meet England at the same venue two days later. Sri Lanka and England play the third match in Rawalpindi on October 22.

All three teams then move to Lahore, where Pakistan face England at the Gaddafi Stadium on October 25 and Sri Lanka on October 27. England and Sri Lanka meet in the sixth match on October 29. The top two sides contest the final on October 31.

Two Tests in the Championship

After the tri-series, Sri Lanka play a three-day warm-up match in Islamabad from November 4 to 6.

The two-Test series that follows forms part of the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27. The first Test is at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from November 9 to 13, the second at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore from November 17 to 21.

The Tests carry the greater weight for Sri Lanka’s cycle standing. The side is coming off a home series against India that ended in a 165-run defeat in Galle, and the Pakistan Tests are among the last scheduled fixtures of the current Championship period.

The tour adds to a crowded international calendar for Sri Lanka, which is also scheduled to visit the West Indies in the 2026 home season there.

Daily Mirror’s report carried the PCB release via The Daily Star of Bangladesh rather than as its own reporting. The full release is published on the PCB website. No Sri Lankan newsroom other than Daily Mirror had carried the schedule at the time of writing.
