A six-year-old boy has died after falling into a well in the Puloly South area of Point Pedro, Newswire and Ada Derana reported, citing Police.
Police launched an investigation after receiving information on Friday night (12) that a child from the area had gone missing. During the search, the body was found inside a well located near his house. The deceased has been identified as a six-year-old resident of Puloly South within the Point Pedro Police Division.
Point Pedro Police are conducting further investigations.
