Police are investigating the discovery of an unidentified body left inside a suspicious parcel in a canal near an abandoned house in the Mahiyanganaya town area.
According to Newswire, the body was found on Sunday evening (May 24) after a strong stench drew residents to the location, prompting them to alert authorities. Officers from the Mahiyanganaya Police Station responded and recovered the remains.
