The Sri Lanka Cricket Selection Panel has named the Sri Lanka β€˜A’ squads for an upcoming Tri-Nation β€˜A’ One-Day Series and a follow-up Four-Day Series, the country’s cricket board confirmed on Wednesday.

The Tri-Nation One-Day Series β€” featuring Sri Lanka A, India A and Afghanistan A β€” will be played at the Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium, with the first match scheduled for June 9, 2026. Wicketkeeper-batter Niroshan Dickwella and all-rounder Chamika Karunaratne are among the players named, returning to the Sri Lanka A set-up. SLC released the full squad lists via official communication; the announcement places established senior-tier names alongside emerging domestic talents identified for first-team progression.

A subsequent Four-Day Series between Sri Lanka A and India A is set down for the Galle International Cricket Stadium, with the first match scheduled to begin on June 25, 2026.

The fixtures form the host-side pairing with the India A squad named on May 14 β€” captained by Tilak Varma with Riyan Parag as vice-captain β€” which blends emerging talent with India A regulars. The two-format tour gives Sri Lanka’s domestic players exposure against established neighbouring A-team pipelines ahead of the next senior international cycle, and gives Dickwella and Karunaratne a competitive runway to push for recalls.
