Home Lands has officially launched Central Park Boulevard, a US$300 million luxury twin-tower development in Port City Colombo’s Central Park District, in what the developer described as the largest real estate investment yet made by a single Sri Lankan firm inside the special zone.
The twin towers will rise 37 levels and house more than 640 residential units, overlooking nearly 40 acres of Central Park green space and waterways with views of the Indian Ocean and the Colombo coastline. Home Lands said the project is the first time a Sri Lankan high-rise has been inspired by an ultra-luxury international lifestyle brand, setting what it called a new benchmark in domestic luxury living.
The company also disclosed that 50% of the units had been sold before the official launch — a strong pre-sale signal in a market where most Port City residential supply is competing for limited high-net-worth buyers. Home Lands has invested US$150 million directly in the project and expects significant foreign investment to fill the balance, taking total project value above US$300 million.
The unveiling drew Bollywood actors Shilpa Shetty, Aditya Roy Kapur and Jacqueline Fernandez to Colombo, alongside cricket legend Mahela Jayawardene who was named Home Lands’ newest Brand Ambassador. A Sales Gallery will open immediately after the launch.
The announcement deepens private-sector interest in Port City, which has attracted roughly US$900 million in FDI across its first five months of 2026 and is moving through a wider US$15 billion vertical-development pipeline. Sampath Bank and Commercial Bank have already opened in-zone branches to support investor and resident transactions, while the Ministry of Investment Promotion has been running roadshows in Dubai and Melbourne targeting overseas buyers.
