The release of the 2025 G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) examination results is likely to be delayed, the Department of Examinations said today.
A Department spokesperson said the results were initially expected to be released on June 15 but the finalisation process is still ongoing. The Department added that preparation has now reached its final stage and expressed confidence the results will be released within the next two weeks.
The 2025 O/L examination was held from February 17 to February 26 across the island, with a total of 451,463 candidates sitting the paper.
The announcement supersedes the Examinations Commissioner Generalβs late-May confirmation that results would be released by mid-June, and reframes the rollout from a single date to a two-week window. The release will clear the way for students to apply for Advanced Level streams and post-O/Level pathways; the department also recently administered the teacher recruitment examination sat by 163,433 candidates, and is preparing for the 2026 G.C.E. A/Level examination scheduled August 10 to September 5.
